An event that describes moral courage is when Scout stops herself from fighting a boy at school because Atticus tells her not to. The characters that are in the scene are Scout, Cecil Jacobs (the boy), Scout was about ready to hit him when she remembers that Atticus says to stay out of trouble when it comes to him being criticised. So she walks away. She doesn't want to do the right thing, she wants to put him in his place but she knows the right thing to do and she does it by walking away. Scout becomes more of a loyal character after this scene.

Moral courage is basically when Atticus takes Tom Robinson case because he knows it is the right thing to do, so an innocent man would not die in vain for a false statment.
